Signpost Philippines Incorporated (formerly Signpost International Inc.) is a Philippines-based NGO committed to the transformation and empowerment of marginalized and vulnerable communities through sustainable, purposeful, and holistic development.
We are a God-centred organisation guided by Christian values—expressing the love of Jesus Christ through practical action, compassion, and long-term community partnership.
Our story began in 1992 after an Anglican minister visited an urban slum in Iloilo City and witnessed the harsh realities faced by many Filipino families.
Moved by what he saw, Sir Kerry Dixon founded Signpost with a clear purpose: to share the love of Jesus Christ in word and action, especially among poor, disadvantaged, and marginalized communities.
In 1995, Signpost launched a child-focused sponsorship and assistance program—supporting children’s education and medical needs through monthly grants and rice assistance, coordinated through Signpost International in the UK. Alongside this, Signpost also supported projects such as housing and medical assistance.
In August 2002, Signpost Philippines Incorporated was officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as an independent NGO, enabling the organisation to operate fully within the Philippines and deepen its community-based work.
