SELF-HELP GROUPS (SAVINGS AND CREDIT MOBILIZATION AND GROUP ENTERPRISE)

Composed of at least 15-25 members mostly women

Organized for peer support, economic empowerment, savings and credit management, social enterprise, values enhancement, cultural and social activities, etc.

Active in two target barangays , with 23 organized SHG and 2 registered federations

Institutionalization of Federation

Inclusion of the Federation to LGU council

Funding of Child and Youth Development and SHG is locked for at least three years and renewable thereafter up to maximum of 10 years.

Staff Development fund is limited but trainings in the network is maximized and utilized.

Representation to local special bodies

Policies and Procedures in place

With 3-5 work and financial plan

Established network with LGU, NGAs and NGOs and Academe 

Staff remuneration and benefits include basic salaries, insurances (accident and medical), retirement fund or end of project pay.

Board of Directors with specialized fields

Sustainable Income Generating Activity provided to communities to sustain operation upon end of project life.
